On 3/8/17 at about 0833 hours, Emmonak AST received a report of a disturbance in Kotlik. AST responded to Kotlik and investigation revealed that Walter Aketachunak (age 34) of Kotlik had possessed a firearm while intoxicated and threatened family members. Aketachunak had fired a shotgun towards one of his family members twice. Aketachunak went into the residence and his family members had to wrestle away the shotgun from Aketachunak. Aketachunak was arrested and transported to the Emmonak Police Department pending arraignment.
